Shopkeepers Association demands re-construction of public convenience

JAMMU, May 17: Shopkeepers Association, Rehari Colony today demanded re-construction of public convenience at the earliest.
A meeting of the association was held under the chairmanship of its President Naveen Bali, who alleged that the erstwhile public convenience near Rehari police post was demolished around three years back with an assurance to re-construct it with modern facilities.
Due to delay in the re-construction of the public convenience, shopkeepers, general public and locals are facing lots of problems.
We met Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Commissioner and officials of the ERA, but nothing has been done till date.
“If the public convenience was not re-constructed at the earliest, then association will hold protest against JMC and ERA and for any untoward incident, the authorities will be responsible”, Bali warned.
Among others present were Arvind Gupta, Parveen Paba, general secretary, Satish Gupta, Satish Jandial, Amit Dutta.
