Sajid Foundation organizes blood donation camp

JAMMU, May 17: The Sajid Foundation for Peace & Human Rights, today organized a  blood donation camp at Government SMGS Hospital Jammu in the memory of well-known legal activist Advocate  Sajid  Iqbal Khanday, the only son of  Chief Secretary  Iqbal Khandey and Judge Kaneez Fatima.
A large number of social activists, intellectuals, family members and friends of Late Advocate Sajid Iqbal, paid tributes to the departed soul and recalled unique personality of Sajid.
On the occasion, large numbers of blood donors voluntarily came forward to carry-on the social missions initiated by the departed soul. Separate arrangements were made for blood donation, AIDS awareness and HIV tests etc. Main focus was to collect the blood from rarely available groups’ i.e. negative groups.
