RAMBAN, May 17: Two persons were killed and another sustained severe injuries when an oil tanker plunged into deep nullah near Ramsoo early this morning.
The ill-fated tanker bearing registration number JK03-1565 was on its way from Jammu to Srinagar when met with accident reportedly due to the negligence of the driver. On getting information about the accident, Ramsoo Police swung into action.
In the accident, two persons got killed and another received severe injuries. The body of one of the deceased could not be recovered and is feared to have been drowned in Bisleri nullah.
The deceased have been identified as Mubarak Ahmed, son of Shamas Din of Chapnari and Mohd Shaheen, son of Ahmed Anwar of Magarkote. The injured has been identified as Shamas Din, son of Abdul Shaheen. His condition was stated to be out of danger when reports last came in.
