JWAM demands restoration of Statehood

JAMMU, Jan 28: Activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) led by their president, Sunil Dimple took out a protest rally demanding restoration of Statehood to J&K and in support of farmers’ agitation.
Addressing the protesters Dimple threatened to sit on a hunger strike on January 30 to get the demands of JWAM fulfilled and claimed that BJP leaders are delivering hollow slogans on restoration of Statehood to J&K.
“BJP leaders are auctioning J&K to outsider capitalists through the new industrial policy,” he maintained alleging that the LG government has already sold-out rivers and canals of J&K to outsider Punjab, Gujarat, UP, Haryana contractors through tenders.
The JWAM leader alleged conspiracy by BJP to fulfil its political agenda by imposing domicile certificate rule after degrading J&K State to a Union Territory.
He alleged that BJP has done injustice with J&K youths.
Those who accompanied Dimple were Chaman Pawar, Sat Sharma, Sachin Soi, Chuni Lal Bhat, Manjiet Anand, Sunny Agarwal, Sonu Kumar, Arjun, Anmol Anand, Sandeep Sharma, Gian Chand and others.
