Police distributes Covid 19 safety kits among BPL families

UDHAMPUR, Jan 29: Continuing its efforts to reach out to the deserving people, District Police Udhampur distributed COVID-19 safety kits among the BPL families in Udhampur.
SSP Udhampur Sargun Shukla, alongwith Dr Rohit Chadgal DySP Hqrs. Udhampur, Insp Chaman Gorka SHO PS Rehmbal, Insp Jaswinder Singh IC PP Tikri and other police officers took part in the distribution function at PP Tikri.
Covid-19 safety kits comprising of hand sanitisers, face shields, oximeter, digital thermometer, hand gloves and other related items were distributed among the Below Poverty Line (BPL) families living under the jurisdiction of PS Rehmbal and PP Tikri.
The people were also briefed by the technical team on how to use these kit items and ensure prevention till the time they’re vaccinated against the virus.
While speaking on the occasion, SSP Udhampur requested the public to adopt all precautionary measures to protect themselves from Covid-19 pandemic. SSP Udhampur further added that such efforts of Udhampur Police to serve the general public shall continue in future also.
