NEW DELHI, May 18: The wholesale sugar prices ruled quiet in the national capital today following sporadic buying support.
Marketmen said ample supplies against scattered demand mainly kept sugar prices steady.
The following were today’s quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,200-3,300, S-30 Rs 3,190-3,280.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,070-3,180; S-30 Rs 3,060-3,160.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3145, Kinnoni 3,255, Asmoli 3,215, Dorala 3,145, Budhana 3,155, Thanabhavan 3,150, Dhanora 3,135, Simbholi 3,240, Modi Nagar 3,130, Khatuli 3,140, Dhampur 3,100, Ramala 3,090, Bulandshar 3,110, Anupshar 3,070, Baghpat 3,100, Morna 3,090, Sakoti 3,100, Chandpur 3,100, Amroha 3,110 and Nazibabad 3080.
