JAMMU, Jan 30: An alumni meet was organised by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Alumni Association in which Administrative Secretary School Education, BK Singh was chief guest.
The alumni meet was attended by a large number of former students of different Navodaya Vidyalaya Schools of J&K UT.
While speaking on the occasion BK Singh lauded the role of Navodaya Vidayalaya in making and shaping the bright future of the students by providing quality education and feel at home environment. “Due to all-round development of the students in the Vidyalaya, we all have achieved our goals by getting ourselves selected on various prestigious posts,” he said.
He stressed for further strengthening the knot of brotherhood in the society as a message of Navodayans.
The alumni also shared their experiences during school days and also said that they today reached on such positions due to such school and faculty. They also remembered their good old days and stressed for organizing such meets in future also.
Others who were present in the meet and shared their ideas included Rakesh Balwal IPS, Ranjeeet Singh KAS, Shivnandan Singh, Jasvir Singh DDC member, Vinod Sharma, Anil Sharma, Kuldeep Katoch, Sukhdev Singh Sumbria, Parminder Singh, Pawan Sharma, Omkar Singh, Devender Thakur and many others.
