JAMMU, Jan 30: Bharat Bhushan DDC Member, Block Bhalwal today interacted with the villagers of village Dhar Dharocha. He was accompanied by State president, Kissan Morcha JKUT, Omi Khajuria and Mandal president, Ashok Kerni.
Villagers have raised important issues relating to the irregular supply of water. There is old infrastructure which has to be replaced, because existing infrastructure is not sufficient to cater to the demands of the people, the said.
The residents said that the population is rapidly increased from the last one decade due to urbanization. Another demand raised by the people was related to the electricity and they said that there is no proper voltage in village.
Bharat Bhushan took stock of the every thing carefully and gave directions to the concerned officers. He also said that no doubt people are facing lot of problems, due to bad connectivity but same will be solved soon.
Bharat Bhushan assured that within the stipulated time all the problems like water supply ,electricity ,lane drain and allied will be solved and soon estimates for Rs 4.50 cr will be prepared by Jal Shakti Department under Jal Jeevan Mission and work will be started specially for Dhar Dharocha village.
He also urged public to stay calm as there is no need to panic as for the first time Panchayati Act system was implemented completely in Jammu and Kashmir and all the credit for this goes to the NDA Government led Narender Modi.
On this occasion Narinder Singh, Vipan Sharma, Raman Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Naseeb Singh, Rajni Devi, Rehmat Khan ,Om Prakash, Babu Ram were also present.
