Dalit Sena demands status of martyr for Chamail Singh

JAMMU, May 18: Dalit Sena, Jammu and Kashmir has demanded that the same status be given to Chamail Singh as was given by the Punjab Government to Sarabjit Singh.
A team of Dalit Sena  headed by national president, Ram Chander Paswan, ex-MP  visited the house of Chamail Singh and demanded Rs 2.5 crore and service for kin of Chamail Singh. They said that Chamail Singh should be given the status of martyr.
They added that Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah whose party is claiming to be the champion and supporters of poor and downtrodden has no time to visit the bereaved family to see its pathetic condition.
Other who visited the house of Chamail Singh were  Surya Mani, national working president, Dalit Sena, Satish Lonhara, national general secretary, Reeta Jha, Sanjeev Manmotra, State working president, LJP, Romesh Lal Bhagat, State president, Dalit Sena and Sham Lal.
