JAMMU, Feb 3: An awareness programme for filing online reimbursement claims for SGST/CGST and Budgetary support was organized by State Taxes Department in collaboration with Bari Brahmana Industries Association at BBIA Bhawan here today.
Chairman Federation of Industries Jammu and president BBIA Lalit Mahajan, BBIA vice president Ajay Langer, general secretary Viraaj Malhotra, secretary Rajesh Jain, treasurer Vivek Singhal; Neeraj Sharma State Taxes Officer, Sunil Bhagat, Programmer & other officials of the State Taxes Department and Members of Bari Brahmana Industries Association were present on the occasion.
Lalit Mahajan, Chairman, FOIJ in his presidential remarks conveyed heartiest thanks to Arun Kumar Mehta, Financial Commissioner, Finance Department, PK Bhat, Commissioner, State Taxes Department Jammu, Rift Kohli, Additional Commissioner State Taxes Department and other officials of the Department for the introduction of Online submission of Reimbursement claims to provide the hassle free facility to the Industrial units for the release of payment in time bound manner.
During the course of discussions, Mahajan requested that since it is a new concept for filing Online Reimbursement claims, Department should accept hard copies of the claim also for the QE Dec 2020 to avoid Online rejection due to any deficiency.
While speaking on the occasion, Neeraj Sharma, State Taxes Officer, appreciated the steps by the BBIA to educate the Industrial fraternity and requested the unit holders to register themselves on JK Comtax Portal & file Online Reimbursement claims for QE Dec. 2020 onward for SGST/CGST and Budgetary Support.
A power point representation was given by Sunil Bhagat, Programmer, State Taxes Department in respect of filing Online Reimbursement claims.
