RAMBAN, Feb 4: Batote Police booked seven violators for overtaking inside Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee tunnel.
As per police sources, acting on the direction of senior officers to curb overtaking inside Dr Shyama Prasad Mookerjee tunnel, a team from Police Station Batote led by SHO Inspector Ranjit Singh laid a special check point at Northern portal of the tunnel.
Seven vehicles were challaned for overtaking inside the tunnel.
District Police Ramban has appealed to the general public to follow traffic rules and avoid overtaking inside the tunnel.
