UDHAMPUR, May 19: A meeting of United Diploma Engineers Welfare Forum (UDEWF) was held, which was presided over by Upinder Singh.
While speaking, Singh called for broader unity among the diploma engineers of civil, electrical and mechanical engineering wings.
He highlighted various demands including two promotions to every diploma engineer before retirement, restoration of entry level grade, restoration of JE Grade-I, maintenance of cadre strength at all levels and enhancement of fixed TA to Rs 5000 per month.
Among others present were SC Goswami, Chairman, Manjit Singh, Sat Paul Sharma, Sukesh Sharma, Ashwani Sharma, etc.
