KATHUA, May 19: A middle aged man allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous stuff at his residence in Chan Arorian area, falling under the jurisdiction of Rajbagh police station.
As per reports, 43-year-old Raj Kumar, son of Gian Chand allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence in Chan Arorian.
Noticing him unconscious, family members shifted him to nearby hospital and was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he failed to respond to the treatment and breathed his last.
The body was handed over to family members for last rites after completion of legal formalities.
A case has been registered at police station Rajbagh and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
