Congress has lost ground: Manhas

JAMMU, Feb 8: MP Rajya Sabha from Jammu and Kashmir, Shamsher Singh Manhas lashed out at senior Congress leader, Ghulam Nabi Azad and his Party saying that it did nothing for Jammu and Kashmir and as of now they are pedaling lies in the Parliament. He, while speaking on Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Amendment Bill 2021 in Rajya Sabha today said “The truth is they (Congress) have lost ground and there dictatorship has come to an end’’.
He said whole Jammu and Kashmir stands united and committed towards peace, progress and prosperity and has extended full support for the abrogation of Article  370 and 35A. “It’s a feeling of new era with a very good hope for all round development’’, he added.
He said “We have got very important and precious projects from the Centre and flow of funds has become so smooth and all projects are being executed with transparency and honesty.’’ He also demanded that more and more IAS officers are required in near future to handle the important projects for their time bound completion.
He raised demand that quota for JKAS and JKPS be restored upto 50% which is presently at 33%.
He complimented Central Government for the launch of Complete Health Care Facility to whole Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory through Ayushman Bharat Sehat Scheme , which is going to benefit and provide relief to the poor and downtrodden people of the region.
