NEW DELHI, May 21: Silver prices fell by 0.36 per cent to Rs 43,109 per kg in futures trade today as speculators trimmed exposures amid a weakening trend overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July fell by Rs 154, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 43,109 per kg in business turnover of 910 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in September declined by Rs 148, or 0.34 per cent, to Rs 43,600 per kg in business volume of 42 lots.
In the international market, silver traded 2 per cent lower at USD 22.45 an ounce in Singapore.
Analysts said a subdued trend in precious metal in the global markets, led to fall in silver prices at futures trade here. (PTI)
