JAMMU, Feb 10: Lalita Shasarnam was released on the occasion of Shivchaturdashi today at Mahakali Mandir, Talab Tillo near here by Mahant Mahadev Giri Ji Maharraj and other saints present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Murti Prathista of Shiv Parivar (installation ceremony of Lord Shiva family) was also held in the holy temple by the group of saints with chanting of religious hymns. A large number of devotees also attended the function. The Lalita Shasarnam has been compiled by the Vijeshwar Jyotshi Karyalya, Gole Gujral, Pt. Avtar Krishan Jyotshi also attended the function.
On the occasion a Maha Yagya was solemnized in the temple. The saints who participated in the religious function and book release included Mahant Rishiban Giri of Ranbireshwar temple, Jammu, Mahant Swami Saarvanand Ji of Sant Sewa Ashram Purkhoo, Mahant Ram Janam Dass Ji , Mahant Ram Mandir Dahi Chak, Mahant Achutanand Giri Ji, Mahant Sanyas Ashram Akhnoor and Acharya Som Shastri Ji of Raghunath Mandir Akalpur, Jammu.
The devotees were also served with Prasad after the Puranahuti.
