JAMMU, May 21: A meeting of J&K PHE Employees Union (PHEEU) was held under the presidentship of Moulvi Muneer Ahmed and general secretary Satpal Singh to discuss the burning demands of the employees.
The meeting raised various issues including regularization of all daily wagers engaged in the department before and after 1994, enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years and removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre, etc.
The union announced its full support for JCC’s call for a demonstration to be held on May 23, 2013 at all district headquarters across the State.
