SAMBA, Feb 12: One pedestrian died in an accident at Samba -Mansar Dhar road in Nud village of Samba district near here, today.
The incident took place when a pedestrian was going to his home reached near Nud village and a truck bearing Registration Number PB35Q 9545 hit him. After the incident locals rushed the spot and injured was shifted to District Hospital Samba for treatment where doctors declared him as brought dead. The deceased was identified as Ram Paul (35yrs), S/o Amar Nath R/o village Sadyali, Nud.
In this regard Samba Police registered a case and truck was seized and its driver was arrested by Police. Police also registered a case under relevant sections of the law in this regard.
