JAMMU, Feb 12: Police booked a man for preventing a lady doctor from discharging her legitimate duties.
As per police sources, Dr Sunita Devi, posted as MO at Primary Health Centre Kathar lodged a complaint with Police Station Akhnoor stating that a man identified as Madan Lal, son of Beli Ram of Ardaan entered into the PHC premises and prevented her from performing her legitimate duties.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 40/2021 under Section 353 IPC (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his/her duty) has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation of the case has been entrusted to Incharge Police Post Chowki Choura Inspector Ankuj Kumar.
