KATRA, Feb 15: The police nabbed two youth and recovered stolen bike from their possession.
Official sources said that one Kuldeep Singh, son of Mhal Singh, resident of Tikri, approached Police Post, Kakryal and lodged a written complaint on Feb 10, that on Feb 8, 2021 at around 5 pm his uncle namely Naseeb Singh, son of Ram Saran, resident of Kakryal had taken his bike bearing registration No.JK08D-4678 to his home and parked it outside. When he woke up in the morning, he saw that the said bike was stolen by some un-known thieves.
On this, a case FIR No.24/2021 U/S 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Katra and investigation of the case was entrusted to Insp Ali Imran. During investigation Police rounded up two suspects namely -Sukhvinder Singh (30), son of Balvinder Singh of Resham Ghar Colony, Jammu and Rakesh Singh (26), son of Dhani Ram, resident of Talwara,Reasi. After their interrogation, they confessed that they had stolen the said motorcycle. The bike was recovered at their instance.
The recovery was made by SHO, Katra Sunil Sharma and Insp Ali Imran, under the supervision of SDPO Katra, Kuljeet Singh and SP Katra Amit Bhasin.
