JAMMU, May 22: Vishaw Hindu Parishad (VHP) reiterated that annual Amarnath Yatra should start from Jesht Purnima falling on June 23 and continue up to Raksha Bandhan.
Talking to reporters here today VHP State president Dr Rama Kant Dubey said the Pratham Darshan and pooja should be held in holy cave. He urged the Shrine Board to make public the number of yatris registered so far. The floating puja will not be acceptable to the Hindus of this country, he added.
He demanded that Shrine Board and High Powered Committee should make all possible efforts to invite maximum number of yatris and this number should go up by past figure.
