JAMMU, May 22: MLA Bani Master Lal Chand has appealed the GREF authorities to resume the work on construction of Basohli- Bani- Bhadarwah road the work of which was stopped over two days back on the pretext that the same has caused a threat to the environment.
In a statement issued here today Master Lal Chand said that the construction work of the road was started only after getting the clearance from the Forest Department and the road was not any threat to ecology as alleged.
He said with the construction of the road the people of Bani and Basohli will be benefited as the road will be a direct link to Bhadarwah and other places.
