JAMMU, Feb 17: Miscreants attacked a truck driver and looted Rs 50,000 cash near fly over area, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nowabad.
As per police sources, miscreants travelling in a car intercepted a truck coming from Srinagar to Jammu near fly over here and attacked the driver late last night.
The truck driver received injuries and was shifted to GMCH Jammu, from where he was discharged today morning.
The miscreants also looted Rs 50,000 cash, which the truck driver was carrying.
On the complaint of truck driver namely Inderjeet Singh, son of Bhagat Singh of Rani Bagh Sant Nagar District Jammu, a case under FIR Number 28/2021 under Sections 341, 323 and 382 IPC has been registered at Police Station Nowabad and hunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
