Thieves decamp with gold from Army man’s house

SAMBA, Feb 17: In the broad daylight,  the burglaras decamped with 10 tolas of gold from the house of Army man in village Nagrota, Utterbehni under jurisdiction of Vijaypur Police Station in Samba district today.
According to the Army man’s wife, Anuradha theft took place at 1 pm when she went to cowshed to feed the cattle. When she returned after 10 minutes she saw the main gate was open. As she entered the house and found the bedroom was ransacked. Almirahs were also damaged and she checked and found gold was missing.
After that she informed the police, which rushed to the spot with FSL team. Anuradha gave details to the police and said 10 tolas of gold were missing from the Almirah. When FSL team took samples from the spot they recovered Saw and one sharp edged weapon from there. Vijaypur Police registered FIR in this case and started the further investigation.
