REASI, Feb 17: Police today arrested a drug peddler from Arnas area and seized nine rolls of cannabis from his possession.
The accused, identified as Mohd Rafiq, son of Mohd Yousaf of Kakra, tehsil Thakakote, was riding a motorcycle when he was intercepted by a police party of Police Station Arnas at Narloo.
In this connection, case FIR number 14/2021, U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered against the accused at Police Station Arnas and investigation taken up. The whole operation was conducted by SHO Arnas, Inspr Sanjay Raina, under the supervision of SDPO Arnas, Dr Satish Bhardwaj and overall supervision of Adl SP, Surjeet Bhagat.
