Dimple detained ahead of hunger strike

JAMMU, Feb 18: Ahead of hunger strike, Sunil Dimple, President Mission Statehood and Jammu West Assembly Movement was detained at Police Station Bakshi Nagar.
Sunil Dimple was supposed to sit on hunger strike to project the demand of restoration of Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
Remaining firm on his decision, Dimple continued his hunger strike in the police station and was later released in the evening.
While talking to the media persons, Dimple demanded restoration of Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir with special status, early delimitation and grant statehood before the Assembly elections.
“We want the status of Jammu and Kashmir as State back”, he said and demanded early Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
