KATHUA, Feb 19: An Army jawan of Dogra Regiment died in a road mishap at Pelani bridge in Nagrota Gujroo in Billawar tehsil of Kathua district today.
He has been identified as Bikram Singh 36, son of Isher Dass of Tila Billawar. He is posted in Rajasthan and was on leave. Today he was traveling on his bike bearing registration number EVOL 5071 which skidded of the road at the Pelani bridge resulting in his grievous injuries. He was shifted to Billawar Sub District Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Billawar police has registered a case under Section 304 and the body has been taken for autopsy.
