Billawaria assures redressal of people’s problems

JAMMU, Feb 20: Senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria visited Belicharana, Doda Basti area of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment and listened to the problems of the people there.
During his interaction with people, he was informed about slapping of huge amount as water tariff bills. The demand for construction of lanes and drains was also highlighted by the people. People said that they have been receiving drinking water bills every year and were depositing bills before the due date, but this time suddenly bills ranging from Rs 940 to three thousand have been issued even though this area is outside the Municipal Corporation.
Local people said that they also complained to the Jal Board but the concerned staff is not willing to listen. Showing concern over slapping of huge amount as the water tariff to people, Billawaria assured them that an attempt would be made to resolve the issue by placing the same before the Jal Shakti Board. Talking to the people, Billawaria said that a few days ago the work of drainage was started in this area which has been completed. Soon, other development works will be started at a cost of Rs 6 lakh. He said that due to these development works, problems will be overcome.
Billawaria further said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is working to make people’s lives easier and every effort will be made to improve the living condition of people. He said that soon after the BJP Government came to power at Center, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi gave free gas connections to the poor, Sochalayas were constructed for poor, launched Krishi Yojana, Jan-Dhan Yojana, scheme for women, deposited direct money to farmers accounts,  launched Mudra Yojana and many schemes reached the general public. People also complimented Billawaria for the work he had already done.
Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Suraj Raina, Man Singh Bali, DK Singh, Lucky Manhas, Farooq Rather, Raj Kumar, Kazum Rathar were also present on the occasion.
