SAMBA, May 23 District Development Commissioner Samba R.K Varma today paid a surprise visit to the office of Assistant Khilafwarzi Officer, Municipal Committee, Samba. Arun Saini, Assistant Khilafwarzi Officer who was found absent for the last two days was placed under suspension pending enquiry. DDC also reviewed in detail the functioning of Municipal Committee, Samba.
The Executive Officer, MC, Samba was directed to activate the Khilafwarzi wing of the committee and ensure that the pedestrian lanes in the town on both sides of the road are cleared of the goods placed by the shopkeepers so that the pedestrian may not face any difficulty. The DDC also directed the sanitary wing to keep the lanes and drains neat and clean in all the 13 wards of the town.
