Srinagar, Feb 22: The Weatherman today forecast heavy rain and snowfall at some places in Jammu and Kashmir on February 25 and 26.
He said that the precipitation might cause disruptions of flights and slippery road conditions along Banihal-Ramban, Zojila and Mughal road.
The MeT official said that under the influence of two Western Disturbances, scattered to widespread rain and snow is most likely to occur in Jammu and Kashmir between February 25 and 26.
He said that the system is most likely to affect North Kashmir, extreme Western Ladakh, Pirpanjal and Jammu region.
“Heavy rain and snow are expected at some places during 25-26th February,” the weatherman said.
