JAMMU, May 27: Residents of Sainik Colony led by Jai Singh, Ex-corporator and Gurmeet Singh Randhawa, president, Jan Sewa Sansthan, met Minister for Relief, Revenue and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla, and apprised him about the problems being faced by them.
The residents apprised the Minister about the acute water shortage being faced by them. They said that the residents are spending their hard earned money on hiring the water tankers to fulfill their water requirements. They also expressed their concern about the unscheduled power cuts.
Raman Bhalla gave a patient hearing to the problems and assured them that their problems will be redressed shortly.
He called upon the people to use electricity and water judiciously especially during summer season.
