KISHTWAR, Feb 24: District Police Kishtwar organized wreath laying ceremony in the memory of martyr DySP Aman Thakur, who made supreme sacrifice of his life in the line of duty on February 2019 while fighting against terrorists in district Kulgam.
The nation is indebted to the sacrifice of the brave son of the soil who will always be remembered and shall always remain an inspiration for the personnel of Police Department.
During the event, SSP Kishtwar Dr Harmeet Singh Mehta in presence of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Kumar Sharma paid rich tributes to the martyr DySP.
Other officers who were present on the occasion includes Additional SP Kishtwar Mushim Ahmed, DySP Headquarters Kishtwar Devindar Singh Bandral, DySP DAR DPL Dheeraj Singh Kotach, Inspector Abid Shah, Inspector Dilraj Singh and other police and civil administration officials.
Meanwhile, floral tribute to martyr DySP Aman thakur was also paid at Police Martyrs Memorial Railway Station Jammu.
