BSF organizes free medical camp

JAMMU, Feb 25: A free medical camp was organized by 12 Battalion BSF at border village Galwade Chak in Jammu district, under its civic action programme.
The camp was inaugurated by Rakesh Negi, Deputy Inspector General (DIG), SHQ BSF Sunderbani, in presence of Dilbagh Singh, Commandant, 12 Battalion BSF.
A team of specialized doctors carried out medical check-up of local villagers. During the camp, tri-cycle, hearing aid, walker, spectacle and free medicines were distributed among the needy. Around 200 civilians including elderly people, divyang and kids attended the camp and availed benefit.
BDC Chairman and Sarpanch Galwade Chak, Surinder Singh urged the BSF to continue such medical camps in future also.
