JAMMU, Feb 25: A major fire broke out today in the forest area behind Rajiv Colony, Bikram Chowk.
According to the reports, a sudden mysterious fire broke out in bushes behind shops and houses in Rajiv Colony and soon fire spreading in the area. Some locals informed the police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
The officials of Fire services immediately rushed to the spot along with fire tenders and extinguished the fire completely within 30 minutes. No loss of lives and injuries were reported in the incident.
Meanwhile, police post Nehru Market took cognizance of the matter.
