J&K suffered through dynastic rulers: Bharat Bhushan

JAMMU, Feb 25: The BJP-led Government at the Centre and leadership in the Union Territory is committed for the overall development of Jammu and Kashmir which has so far suffered at the hands of the dynastic rulers.
This was stated by DDC Chairman, Jammu District, Bharat Bhushan while addressing a Janata Darbar at Panchayat Ghar Ghaink. Vice Chairman, Suraj Singh; president Raipur Domana Mandal, Ashok Kerni and officers of various Government departments were also present during the Darbar. They listened to the problems being faced by people of various villages falling under the Raipur Domana constituency.
The DDC Chairman said that democracy is such a form of Government wherein each and every process decides the present and future of its citizens in a transparent manner. The Government is accountable to the general public. He said that the PM Modi’s Government is committed to the welfare of the common masses and its flagship welfare schemes have been uplifting the people in Jammu and Kashmir in every way possible. “With the revocation of Article 370, a major hurdle has been erased and now is the time for the people to unlock the benefits of that historic decision,” Bhushan added.
The DDC Chairman threw light on the flagship schemes of the Narendra Modi Government which were initiated for the welfare of common masses. “The Centre has launched multiple schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP), AB PM-Jay Sehat Scheme, Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, PM-Kisan (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi) Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Dhan Jan Yojana, PM Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY) and several others,” he said.
The senior BJP leader stressed upon the need for highlighting these schemes so that the general public can avail benefits of them through implementing agencies.
People from different Panchayats informed the DDC Chairman about their problems regarding road connectivity, water supply, electricity and several other issues following which the Chairman assured for early resolution of the same.
The DDC Chairman directed the concerned officials to work hard to provide basic necessities to the people of the area. He said that it is our foremost duty to listen to public problems and timely follow up to get them solved.
