DODA, Feb 27: One person was killed while three others were injured today when a passenger vehicle plunged into a gorge under the jurisdiction of police post Kashtigarh.
“The mishap occurred at about 5:30 pm near Bartund Chalie Morh when the passenger vehicle (Tata Sumo) bearing registration number JK19-2414 was on its way from Chanderkote towards Bartund,” reports said.
One person namely Chain Singh son of Chat Ram, resident of Ganote died on spot while Balkrishan (40) son of Prem Nath of Bartund, Swran Singh (20) son of Lehar Singh of Bartund and Ghamir Singh (24) son of Sant Ram, resident of Dayar Gali (Rajgarh) sustained serious injuries.
The dead and the injured were shifted to District Hospital Ramban while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
