JAMMU, Feb 27: Jammu & Kashmir BJP Mahila Morcha led by its president, Sanjita Dogra, held its one-day Working Committee meeting at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
The meeting was inaugurated by BJP general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul and former Minister, Priya Sethi, BJP vice president and Prabhari Mahila Morcha, Anuradha Charak, Dy. Mayor Purnima Sharma, Seh Prabhari, Mahila Morcha, Veenu Khanna, All Morcha Prabhari, Munish Sharma, BJP spokesperson, Rajni Sethi and BJP senior leaders Suresh Jamwal and Usha Choudhary were also present.
Ashok Kaul, in his address highlighted the party’s ideology, principles and concepts and said that the party workers will have to focus on the welfare schemes and achievements of the Central and UT Governments.
He poke on the organizational matters and the need of strengthening the party at the booth level. He acquainted the Morcha activists with the forthcoming party programmes and asked them to take these to the common masses. He reiterated BJP’s resolve to work for welfare and upliftment of women folk.
Sanjita Dogra, in her presidential address presented account of organizational and developmental works undertaken by the Mahila Morcha at various levels in the previous months with special reference to the services rendered during COVID-19 pandemic. She also stressed on the social security of the females along with their empowerment and upliftment, which will boost their efficiency in displaying their ability and capability. She spoke on the success of BJP’s policies among the masses.
All Morcha president, Munish Sharma, while addressing asserted that the nation has witnessed the pace of development and advancement under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Morcha J&K general secretary, Neha Mahajan tabled a resolution, mentioning various welfare schemes of Narendra Modi Government exclusively for the socio-economic upliftment of the women. The resolution also contained suggestions/ demands to make women self reliant and lead dignified life.
Former presidents of Jammu and Kashmir BJP Mahila Morcha, ex MoS and In charge Head Office, Priya Sethi, Dy. Mayor Purnima Sharma and Mahila Morcha Prabhari Anuradha Charak and Seh Prabhari, Veenu Khanna also addressed the meeting and shared their experiences while serving the party and the Morcha.
Mahila Morcha J&K general secretary Updesh Andotra conducted the proceedings of the meeting. The vote of thanks was presented by Urvashi Gupta, Morcha general secretary.
