JAMMU, Feb 27: Election for the President of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha will be held on March 7 and there are four candidates in fray for the post.
Voting shall take place at Mahajan Bhawan, Shalamar Road Jammu from 10.30 A.M to 3 PM and the voters have been asked to bring their photo identity card as well as entry card to cast their votes.
Decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of the election commission, held today under the chairmanship of Yash Paul Gupta and attended by Rattan All Gupta advocate and Shiv Partap Gupta, members of the election commission.
The entry card shall be delivered to each eligible voter by the office of the election commission well before the said date of election, said a handout, issued by the Mahajan Sabha.
The voters have also been requested to observe all the COVID-19 protocols, wear masks and also maintain social distancing.
Four candidates, namely Jugal Mahajan, Romesh Chander Gupta, Ram Langar and Sham Langar are in fray for the post of President.
