JAMMU, Feb 28: On the holy occasion of Jayanti of Sant Gora Ji Maharaj an annual congregation was organised by Prajapati Sabha, Jammu. BJP OBC Morcha attended the function and celebrated the Jayanti of Sant Gora Ji Maharaj.
Priya Sethi, former MoS was the chief guest on the occasion while Yudhvir Sethi vice president ,BJP JK UT , Braham Jyot Satti, president BJP OBC Morcha JK-UT , Sunil Prajapati, publicity secretary, BJP OBC Morcha JK-UT, Ayoudhya Kumar Manawa, president Prajapati Sabha Jammu were guests of honour. Gulshan Prajapati, district secretary BJP OBC Morcha Jammu and dignitaries of Prajapati Sabha were special guests .
In the function they celebrated the birthday of Sant Gora Ji with high enthusiasm and devotion. Meritorious children of Prajapati Samaj presented their views regarding ill practices of society like dowry and casteism. Patriotic songs were sung by children.
A huge number of people marked their presence and got blessings of Sant Gora Ji Maharaj in the function and Prasad of Gora Ji was distributed among people who were present on the occasion .
Shawls and mementos among meritorious children of Prajapati Samaj were distributed by the guests.
Priya Sethi congratulated the Prajapati Samaj on this special occasion and said Sant Gora Ji was a great saint and a die hard devotee of Lord Vishnu. He wrote a huge number of Shabad dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his life span.
Yudhvir Sethi said Prajapati community is a patriotic community who always worked for the well being of the nation.
He said after formation of Government in JK UT Prajapati community will get first preference.
Speaking on the occasion, Braham Jyot said we should follow the path of Sant Gora Ji who dedicated his life for well being of society.
