Warm farewell accorded to retirees

JAMMU, Feb 28: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) accorded warm farewell to its retiring officers/scientist/professors in a retirement function organized at Baba Jitto Auditorium at SKUAST-J, Chatha.
Prof J P Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-J was the chief guest on the occasion. During the function, retiring officers– Prof D P Abrol, Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Dr M M S Zama, Professor, Division of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, Dr Raman Tagar, Professor and Head, Division of Genetics and Breeding FVSc & AH, R S Pura and Dr Virender Singh Wazir, Professor, Division of Veterinary Medicine, were felicitated for contribution in their respected field. The VC wished the retiring officers healthy and prosperous post-retirement life.
Jammu Police gave warm farewell to six retiring police officers namely SI Kashmir Singh, SI Mohd Showkat, SI Subash Chander, SI Yash Pal, ASI Amrik Singh and ASI Kirtan Singh. The send off function was chaired by Raja Adil Hamid, SP Headquarters in the presence of Hamid Hussain Choudhary, Deputy SP DAR DPL, Jammu and other senior serving and retired police officers. Raja Adil Hamid, SP Headquarters congratulated the retiring officers and officials for the dedication and devotion they exhibited while discharging their duties and wished them good health and long life.
