JAMMU, May 25: An Army jawan died when he inadvertently stepped over a landmine during patrolling along the Line of Control in Krishna Ghati Sector of Poonch district.
Lance Naik Ravi Kumar died last evening in KG sector of Poonch when he inadvertently stepped over the landmine, official sources here said.
They said the jawan suffered multiple injuries due to the impact of the blast and succumbed to injuries while being shifted to the hospital.
