JAMMU, May 25: Bhaderwah Hospital Bachao Front (BHBF), has appealed Union Health Minister and chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, Ghulam Nabi Azad to send medical teams to the earthquake affected areas in view of the inefficiency of the local Medical Department to meet any challenge at the time of emergency.
The Front also asked the Union Health Minister to fulfill his commitment of opening Primary Health Centre along with round the clock emergency service in the Old Hospital Bhaderwah, which he made while interacting with various groups of people including the members of the Senior Citizens Welfare Association during his recent visit of Bhaderwah.
They also alleged that the tents have not been provided to even those families whose houses have been declared as ‘fully damaged’ due to earthquake.
“If any genuine person has been provided a tent it is only courtesy 4-RR”, claimed Front.
The Front has also made an appeal to the civil society to come forward and help the victims when the political parties instead of providing sausage to the affected people, have been trying to reap political benefit out of miseries caused due to the devastating earthquake occurred on May 1st. .
