VARANASI, Mar 1:
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda visited Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple and Baba Kalabhairav temple here on Monday.
On the second day of his first Varanasi sojourn after becoming the BJP president, he started his day with worship of Baba Vishwanath. Mr Nadda expressed happiness on the construction work of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor running here. He was accompanied by several party leaders including UP BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh, co-incharge Sunil Ojha.
The BJP president said that a new strength has been gained from worshiping, which he will use to serve the society and strengthen the country.
He said that together with the party workers, he will make every effort to use his energy to make the benefits of the public welfare schemes, being brought in by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to reach more people.
Mr Nadda had arrived in Varanasi for a two-day visit on Sunday and held separate meetings with party office-bearers and public representatives in view of the Panchayat elections and the Assembly polls next year.
He also gave ‘gurumantra’ for electoral victory as well as strengthening the party. (UNI)
