Srinagar, Mar 1: Acting tough against the traffic and COTPA violations, Police today said to have registered 104 traffic challans and 47 COTPA challans in Srinagar.
“Srinagar Police acted tough on the violations of Motor Vehicle Act and Cigarettes & Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA) registered a total of 104 traffic challans under various sections of law in Srinagar,” police said.
Police have also registered 47 challans against the persons who were smoking in public places and were violating the COTPA rules.
