JAMMU, May 25: A unit dealing with processing of dry fruit including walnuts, almonds etc gutted completely in fire that engulfed it late last night.
According to reports, the factory suffered a huge loss as the fire tenders could not control the blaze till 11 am today. The reports said that BK Chandershekhar Company Small Scale Industry complex Birpur caught fire late last night and it spread to entire factory within no time causing a huge loss to factory owner. Three fire tenders one each from Bari Brahmana, Vijaypur and Jammu were pressed into service to control the blaze and after their hard efforts the fire was controlled at 11 am.
