MENDHAR, May 25: The police today recovered a young girl who was allegedly kidnapped by a youth from Bera area in tehsil Mendhar on May 18.
A police spokesman said that on the complaint of Lal Hussain, father of the victim, it was known that his 22-year-old daughter – Rubia (fake name), was kidnapped by one Mohd Rafiulla (25), son of Zafar Iqbal of Chhajla village in Mendhar. The youth was earlier residing in Palam area of Delhi and undergoing some training there. On the basis of some inputs the police party led by PSI Pankaj Singh from Mendhar Police Station conducted a raid and recovered the girl from a hotel in Delhi. A case has been registered against the accused.
