KATHUA, Mar 1: Kathua Police along with District administration has given a golden opportunity to the youth preparing for the Civil Services in Kathua. As part of the Civic Action Program, Kathua Police today inaugurated Police Public Institute for administrative career at District Library Kathua.
DC Kathua, Om Prakash Bhagat, along with SSP Kathua, Dr. Shailendra Mishra, inaugurated the library .Other senior officials including Additional SP, Ramnish Gupta as well as officials from police and civil administration were also present on this occasion.
During interaction with media, SSP Kathua, Dr. Shailendra Mishra stated that the youth of Kathua have excelled in may fields of sports and academics at different platforms including UPSC and State PSC exams. But somehow, few students who dream of this cannot get a chance to avail coaching and guidance. In this regard, Kathua Police has decided to take small initiative on its part to open a Police Public Institute to inspire, guide and teach the youth for the preparation of civil services. With this, the energy of the youth can be channelized in right direction. He urged the aspirants to come and take the advantage of the facilities being provided in the library for their bright future.
