Ladakh will be model UT soon: Ashok Kaul

LEH, Mar 2: With focused developmental approach by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Union Government, Ladakh will be model Union Territory soon, said Ashok Kaul general secretary (Org.) of Union Territories of Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh.
Ashok Kaul was addressing a meeting of office bearers of Nubra district (Ladakh) at Khardung-La Pass.
Ashok Kaul, said that the Union Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is making dedicated efforts to transform the Union Territory of Ladakh as a Model Union Territory. He asked the BJP activists to augment the efforts of administration by ensuring the implementation of Government policies wherever possible. He asked them to explore the untapped potential of the region to further boost up the development process.
Ashok Kaul also stressed on the organizational programmes. He asked them to hold the party’s training workshops for the capacity building of the party cadre. He also emphasized on the completion of teams for various Mandal, Morchas and Cells in the district. He said that the party has increased the number of organizational districts to increase the organizational working and hence the all the teams need to be made quickly for giving pace to the work.
Ashok Kaul also prompted them to make preparations for the forthcoming party programmes like party Foundation Day on April 6, Samrasta Diwas on April 14 and other events.
Stanzin Delaik district president, Nubra, Tashi Khachu district president, Leh and other senior party leaders participated in the meeting.
Earlier, he also addressed a progressive meeting which was held at BJP Headquarter, Leh in the presence of BJP State president, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal (Member Parliament).
Chairman / Chief Executive, Councillor Tashi Gyaltson, Deputy CEC, Tsering Angchuk, EC’s and Councillors participated in the meeting in which the main focus was laid on the development works and the progress which each of the Executive councilors, councilors and nominated councilors have made in their own constituencies till date.
