REASI, Mar 3: Tension gripped Reasi town after a severed calf head was found on roadside at Mandi Mohalla locality, here early this morning.
Acting swiftly, Police reached the spot and took the calf head for postmortem besides registering a case in this connection.
There was an apparent attempt to disturb peace, communal harmony and hurt the religious sentiments and investigation into the case is underway, said Police, adding that no arrest was made so far.
A case FIR number 43/2021, under section 295-A IPC has been registered in this connection at Police Station Reasi.
