Theft in 4 shops at Mandi town

POONCH, Mar 3: Bruglars broke into four shops in Mandi area of district Poonch and decamped with cash worth lakhs and goods last night.
The shopkeepers claimed that they found locks of their shops, broken in the morning and some cash and goods were missing.
The burglary incident took place during the intervening night of March 2-3. There is routine night patrol by police in the market. The shops which were burgled included hardware and garments.
A police official said that they have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case.There was strong resentment among the local people and traders.
SHO Mandi said that the investigation into the burglary incident was on and burglars would soon be  behind the bars.
